Position 3 LtdSpecialists in Organisation Development

We do not provide ‘off the shelf’ development programmes†. For learning to be meaningful, and to ensure it can be applied in the organisation, the context and climate in which the learning needs to be applied must be central to any programme’s design.

By understanding the culture, climate and context of an organisation, we can facilitate programmes and workshops more effectively through an ethos of ‘helping people to help themselves’. Too often, people are not committed to the actions they need to take, or changes they should make as a result of attending a programme.

Often this is because the programme does not take account of their ‘real world’, so the learning remains largely theoretical. By understanding the context in which people need to perform we can help people come up with their own personal strategies that they are committed to, and this is the key to behaviour change and improved performance that will stand the test of time.

All of our leadership and management development programmes are bespoke† and designed to meet you specific needs however, typical staff and generic programmes we run include:

• Coaching skills.
• Mentoring.
• Stepping up to management.
• Managing performance and motivation.
• Increasing personal effectiveness.
• Managing self, work and time.
• Dealing with other styles and your difficult people.
• Problem solving, decision making and facilitation skills.
• Building high performance teams.
• Communication skills.
• Team briefing skills.
• Presentation skills.
• Train the Trainer.

† Generally applies to all management levels however, we do provide a range of programmes aimed at the generic competencies required for new managers or for managers requiring a refresher on key management skills.
